The Ego and The President
He's confident that he could have beaten Trump. Had he been allowed to run for a third term.
“I am confident in this vision because I’m confident that if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could’ve mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it,” Mr. Obama said, CNN reported Monday. “I know that in conversations that I’ve had with people around the country, even some people who disagreed with me, they would say the vision, the direction that you point towards is the right one.”
Funny how he hasn't been able to mobilize support for others in his party.
But what we do know is that during Obama's eight years in office, Democrats lost more than 1,030 seats in state legislatures, governorships, and the U.S. Congress — not to mention the 2016 presidential election
Obama's ego and the 2016 election results don't jive.
