A very Merry Christmas to the horde from chez krakatoa. We are celebrating little Soraya's 2nd Christmas, and I don't think I could adequately describe how incredibly different, and profoundly more satisfying the holidays are when shared with a child who is seeing everything with new eyes.
My only regret is having put off making a family for so long.
2016 is almost entirely in the rear-view mirror, and while I'll happily bid everything pre- November 7th an acrimonious 'adieu', I'd be remiss in not saying how much I appreciate Ace, the COBs, and most importantly, the only occasionally besotted horde of AoS commenters, all of whose collective wit made every day of the past year a little easier to bear.
Finally, a pro-tip to new fathers next year putting together toys (or trampolines) on Christmas Eve. The instructions, even if they are in Engrish, are important, and step 3 will always bite you in the ass if you don't translate it very carefully, especially with things that are under tension (like trampolines) when on step 9.
