Open Thread/Merry Christmas/Happy First Night of Hannukah

A few things --

First of all, I want to thank all the cobloggers for doing such a great job on the site. I also wanted to mention to them -- don't worry about posting much through Monday. It's not fair that I get to take a day off while you guys worry about the site.

I know a lot of posts have already been banked -- thanks for that -- but I'll bother with the Open Threads and stuff. Unless you've got nothing to do and are on the site anyway.

Thanks for all of you readers and commenters (note that the two categories do not overlap) for sticking with the site through this most bruising of political years.

Content will be light for the next three days, but then, content's been kinda light since November 8. Most news-type stuff, you'll have to bring to the comments yourselves.

Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah, and happy holidays.

Call someone you haven't told "I love you" for too long. *
