Analysts Cite Clinton's Fall in Drop in Peso's Value
I guess because her falling means she's less likely to win, and that means Trump will win, and then Mexico will have less money. I guess less remittances? Or having to pay for that great big beautiful wall.
All's I know is that this shifty invalid is now spreading her diseases to the world economy.
Economists have long said that when the when the United States catches a cold, Mexico gets pneumonia. But analysts said Monday that Hillary Clinton's pneumonia has given Mexico's peso something worse.
Banamex, one of Mexico's largest banks, listed the Mexican peso at 19.96, and other banks and exchange houses listed it even higher. The Mexican currency reached the psychological barrier of 20 pesos per dollar, and analysts and commentators cited the role of the U.S. presidential campaign.
A Banco Base analysis said the strength of Republican candidate Donald Trump influenced the peso's decline.
When Donald Trump gets done with Mexico, it'll end up looking like Mexico.
