Today in Dumb History: This Stupid Thing Happened

Trump makes an inelegant statement about 2nd Amendment supporters being a big force in deciding if Hillary gets to appoint her 4-5 Very Young Turk liberal justices to replace our very old and soon to retire majority-of-the-SC, and then everyone loses their shit with preposterous hysteria.

How hysterical? Well, Gabe Malor is certainly as #NeverTrump as you could wish. But he sees through this bullshit:

Yeah, twitter isn't built for reactions; it's built for hysterical, viral-madness overreactions.

This is why I despise it; how it corrupts "thinking" into pure emotional, EST shrieking.

It's also why I occasionally have to go there to tell the shriekers to get a grip on themselves, turn off Twitter for a day, and maybe do some squats. Like a man, instead of like a rabble of shrieking, gibbering lunatic girls.

No but seriously: People are competitive and desire sensory and emotional stimulation. People will get their competition and sensory and emotional stimulation from one source or another.

They ought not choose twitter as that source. They ought to choose life.

And squats.
