Emergency ONT - Niedermeyer's Dead Horse
I have no idea if an ONT is on the way, but here's a fresh thread to tide you over.
I watched an ABC 'In An Instant' episode tonight about the Aggie bonfire collapse in 1999. I had forgotten about it but boy, oh boy, were there some heart-wrenching stories told.
In case you've forgotten about it, you can read the story here, from April 2000.
When it was over, 12 young lives had been lost and 27 people had been injured. At a school for engineering, a flawed design was employed, over and over, despite warnings.
It's all so senseless.
BTW, I've never been a fan of ABC's '20/20' program but this new 'In An Instant' series is one of the best shows on tv. It's endlessly gripping and fascinating, and not in that sense that you feel you're being deliberately manipulated. They basically just let those who were part of the story tell the tale.
You should check it out some night.
So, that's it. Here's hoping for better content before the night is through.
Have a great night.
