Ace of Spades Pet Thread [Mis. Hum.]
Welcome to the AoS Pet Thread, where hairballs and slobber are a way of life.
The anguished decision no pet parent ever wants to make. However, it must be done on occasion. An eloquent piece from Angry Staff Officer on the dreaded subject.
I am a selfish person; I had hoped he would die in his sleep while we were at work, or during the night. Instead, we had to make the decision of whether or not to put him down. It is rare that you have to make that kind of decision for something you love. And no matter how many times it happens, no matter how many times the vet tells you that it is for the best that it will prevent suffering, that it is in fact the kind thing to do it still tears away a piece of something inside you.

Regular Moron contributor Jim Sunk New Dawn, Galveston, TX is a cat guy. In his spare time he's built quite the elaborate bathroom system for his cats. Lord knows we hope he is around to explain all of this.
"View into hall from living room. YOu will see bookcase is important in later photos."
"Looking down hall with enterance to hall-guest bath."
"Looking into bath. Tub elevated on 7" step."
"View of bathroom bookcase & Cabinet, as seen from commode."
"Unlatch catch to bath cabinet, open door & there is cat's litter box. Note phosphorescent night light on left interior. Because not even cats can see in total darkness."
"Cats access their business via framed & Finished doorway between bookcases. That ends box series."
Meet The Pet Morons
Here are the cats that use that fancy kitty bathroom. Jim's cats Bonnie & Scamp.
Say hello to Remy. Remy belongs to TexasJew. This dog was found wandering outside El Paso and only knew Spanish. Looks like a comfy dog now.
Lurker Tina submitted this photo. Simon is on the left. Lilly is on the left. Simon is 8 months and Lilly is 1 year old. They look like mischief to me. Word on the street is that Shelties are cute.
Julie would like to introduce Dexter to the horde. This cat has his "human parents" under his thumb, errrr I mean paw. Looks like a terrible life. Wonder where the umbrella drink is.
Last but not least is this cute guy Oreo. He's an Italian Greyhound. This little guy just turned 14. He looks good for hanging out. Thanks B1bbet for sharing.
Well, that wraps it up for another week. Thanks for stopping by and spending some time with us today. If you have a pet photo, story, tip or something related to pets please send it to us at petmorons at gee mail dot com.
