Embarrassing: Emory Students Whine That They No Longer "Feel Safe" After Seeing "Trump 2016" Scrawled on Sidewalk With Chalk
So.
Conservative students at Emory University are planning a free-speech event for next week, after an outcry on campus over messages supporting Donald Trump.
Students woke up Monday morning to find messages written in chalk all over campus, in support of Donald Trump. That afternoon, a group of 40 to 50 students protested. According to the student newspaper, the Emory Wheel, they shouted in the quad, "You are not listening! Come speak to us, we are in pain!"...
Jim Wagner, the president of the university in Atlanta, met with the protesters and later sent an email to the campus community, explaining, in part, “During our conversation, they voiced their genuine concern and pain in the face of this perceived intimidation.
"After meeting with our students, I cannot dismiss their expression of feelings and concern as motivated only by political preference or over-sensitivity. Instead, the students with whom I spoke heard a message, not about political process or candidate choice, but instead about values regarding diversity and respect that clash with Emory’s own."
So, what would Wagner's plan be?
Well, hunting down the microaggressers, assumedly so they can be tried in a Kollege Kangaroo Kourt.
But that's not the end of the story: Wagner also announced that he would review security footage in hopes of identifying the perpetrators and subjecting them to the "conduct violation process," according to The Emory Wheel. If the perpetrators are not students, trespassing charges will be filed.
And this of course just helps Trump, though it shouldn't -- one doesn't have to support Trump to support a student's rights to support Trump.
These sniveling worms aren't just soft and cowardly; they're stupid and utterly uneducatable.
