Brussels Bombing Causes Many Amputations, Due to Shrapnel Nails in the Bombs

That "Wounded" count might be a more ferocious figure than we thought.

The bomb used in the terrorist attack on the airport contained nails....
Most of the victims received by this hospital have fractures, burns and deep cuts caused by metal objects. "In the operating room, we had to perform many amputations, following the serious damage caused by the nails and pieces of glass contained in the bombs."

The article notes the similarity to the butchery of the April 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
