Ugh: Fox News Calls Ohio for Kasich
And Calls NC for Trump
And Illinois Too
Update: With 99% of the vote in in Missouri, Trump leads Cruz by more than 3000 votes. That seems insurmountable. Missouri, like Illinois, has both a "beauty pageant" for the statewide winner (15 for the statewide winner in Illinois, 12 for the statewide winner in Missouri), and then the rest of its delegates are awarded by congressional district (3 for each of Illinois' 18 districts, 5 for each of Missouri's 8).
I read earlier, at 538, that Trump had won three MO districts, and Cruz three, with two yet to report. We'll see if that stands up.
Update: Well, Cruz has narrowed Trump's lead to 2,450. John King on CNN says Cruz will win "1 or 2" districts.
The odds are Trump will hold or expand his lead, the suggestion seems to be, because the vote still outstanding comes from St. Louis City county and St. Louis County county (the suburbs), where Trump is winning over Cruz by a slim margin.
Update: A guy at 538 says that Cruz will only win one of Missouri's districts, which would deliver 47 of MO's delegates to Trump, 5 to Cruz.
Thought for the Day:
114 Kasich seems like that weird guy in the rest room who pees with his hands on his hips.
