Video Emerges of Corey Landowski Yanking Michelle Fields, Like She Says; Trump World Claims, Fantastically, Vindication

The "vindication" apparently is based on the idea that this isn't such a big deal. She wasn't "thrown to the ground."

But she never claimed she was thrown to the ground. She claimed she was jerked and almost thrown to the ground, but recovered her balance. Washington Post Brian Terris has always said the same: That she was grabbed, and then stumbled due to it.

But on Megyn Kelly last week, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Peirson kept shifting the defense to the claim that Michelle Fields had never been "thrown to the ground." Megyn Kelly repeatedly told her that Fields never claimed to have been thrown to the ground; the most she said was that there was an attempt to do so. But she always said: She kept her feet.

Meanwhile, Corey Landowski denied having "touched" Fields at all, and called her "delusional."

Well, now comes the video, as we always knew it would, showing what sure looks like Landowski grabbing Fields, and then Fields stumbling due to the yank.

In the video, you see Lewandowski pass in front her. Fields reacts, dips down slightly, and turns toward him. At the end of the clip, you can see his arm releasing her. No, she doesn't fall. But she never claimed that she did. In fact, the video corroborates that she was grabbed, and her picture of the bruises corroborates that he grabbed her hard enough to hurt her. It certainly wasn't an extreme act of violence, but it was worth apologizing for, and that is all Fields says she wanted.

And... so of course Trump World is claiming this always proves they were 100% right when they were claiming the 100% opposite.

And thus, as with Bill Clinton and the Dress, the defense moves from "never happened, she's a delusional stalker" to "come on, it's no big deal."

Meanwhile, Trump and Lowandowski's utter refusal to simply say "I saw someone coming quickly, I acted too hastily and grabbed her, I apologize" has now completely melted down Trump's only media ally, Breitbart.

Trump would rather burn down an ally than have his campaign manager confess to have briefly, wrongly grabbed a girl trying to ask Trump a question.

So, yeah, would-be Trump allies like the GOP, conservative movement, or immigration-restrictionist movement: I'd be super-eager to sign up to march under Trump's banner. I'm sure it will all turn out well for you. He'll definitely have your back when you need him too.
