Shameless: Hillary Uses Her Daughter To Deliver Absurd Attack Lines, Trusting that Protectiveness Over Once Off-Limits Chelsea Will Immunize Her Against Blowback

Hillary likes using proxies when she's lying. She sent out Susan Rice to lie up and down for her about Benghazi.

Now she sends out Chelsea Clinton to say dumb things about Bernie Sanders. These things are so dumb Hillary Clinton can't say them herself without losing some of her very-depleted-already credibility.

So she sends out her stupid daughter to say her stupid things.

She had Chelsea go out there and tell people Bernie Sanders was going to take away their health care, without noting Sanders' plan is actually for single-payer, which would replace their current health care.

Now, I'm not a fan of that, you're not a fan of that, Jim Geraghty's not a fan of that -- but to claim that Sanders is going to take away your socialist government-provided health care her without telling you his plan is to give you the the super-duper socialist government-provided health care is dishonest-- and stupid.

What a woman. What a mom.

This move has stunned Democrats, who seem largely to see it as a desperation move, born of weakness and fear.

Making her first solo appearance on the stump, Chelsea Clinton late Tuesday ripped Sanders over his proposals on healthcare and college affordability, arguing the White House hopeful wants to "dismantle" ObamaCare and Medicare.

Democrats have almost universally panned the attack, believing it to be ineffective and a misuse of her talents.

They note that Chelsea Clinton has mostly been used to highlight Hillary Clinton’s softer side as a mother and grandmother and say she seemed uncomfortable shedding her first daughter persona for the role of attack dog.

"The thing that tells you as much as anything about [the Clinton campaign’s] current state of mind is Chelsea going on the attack. It tells you everything you need to know," said one Democratic strategist. "That this [challenge from Sanders] is real and they've got to be freaking out."

The attack caught many Democrats, including Sanders and his supporters, by surprise.

Another high ranking Democrat said, "So now Hillary's schlonging herself...? Sounds about right."
