A Very Cruzy Christmas Ad

Some candidates struck a deal with NBC. NBC owed, probably, the other candidates equal time due to Trump's appearance on the show; NBC offered them some commercial slots.

Ted Cruz plans to run the below ad during Saturday Night Live. The concept is clever; it's a parody ad of the sort you might actually see as part of the SNL show.

I'm not sure how funny it is, but it's definitely funny enough for SNL.

There's a little sneakiness in it too, as it looks like maybe it's just part of the (lame) show. So, Cruz is trying to steal a little cultural credibility from SNL (what little it may have to give), like they're deeming him "cool."

Meanwhile, from Drew, National Review asks what the hell were Republican leaders thinking when they passed the Omnibus spending bill, and funded all of Obama's amnesties, and added a quadrupling of the H2B visas which the Democrats actually opposed.

What they were probably thinking, Drew thinks, is that you're not paying attention, and you'll reward them no matter what.

Because our own leaders think the Washington Post was right when it slandered conservatives as "poor, uneducated, and easily led."
