Alert: Riverside Police Broadcasts Unconfirmed Reports of Armed Men of "Middle Eastern Origin"
Multiple shooters confirmed:
And see the 12:13 update at the San Diego Tribune:
12:13 p.m. - Riverside police dispatchers have broadcast a general advisory that the suspects involved in the shootings in San Bernardino may have fled in a black GMC Yukon, heading northbound on Waterman Avenue, roughly 40 minutes ago.
The broadcast indicated there were unconfirmed reports the suspects were male and of Middle Eastern origin, “armed with AK-47s and wearing body armor.”
The broadcast was part of a region-wide alert issued by the San Bernardino Police Department.
They say that's unconfirmed, of course. But it's looking more like terrorism. Three people acting in concert? Fetishizing the black masks and costumes?
Now that that this appears to be terrorism, Obama will tell us it's not as bad as global warming.
He needs to know if it's terrorism or not terrorism when he's choosing his Fiery, Angry Obama Speech, or his Listless, Bored, Let's-Talk-About-Other-Matters Speech.
And:
Note: the San Diego Tribune has redirected its link away from its live updates to a static news article about the attacks. However, the update did say what I quote it as saying.
I'll get a screencap. And now the update is back again: I guess they were just playing with the URL for some reason. But it's back.
More: Lots of reports about "Syed Farook," a person of interest named on police scanners.
Apparently he worked at the place, and behaved nervously today. Then he left the building -- twenty minutes before the attack started.
...
The Los Angeles Times says police are searching for a black SUV that might have fled the scene. On the other hand, Shep Smith speculates there still might be one shooter inside the facility.
As I mentioned in the last thread, that "three shooters" report doesn't seem to be confirmed. Witnesses have said there were two or more shooters, but witnesses are often wrong in these situations. Often it's just one.
If this really is two or three shooters, it certainly sounds like organized terrorism.
If it's just one, it's almost certainly a disgruntled employee or disgruntled patient, or maybe the father of a patient.
Below, some video of a party held at this facility just yesterday.
