TFG: If Republicans Can't Handle CNBC, They Can't Handle Putin The Way I Can't
Everything about Allah's post is right, from the headline all the way through the bit about the hypocrisy, given that Obama complains relentlessly about negative or "biased" press coverage, and not just from Fox, either; he often finds the liberal media not quite liberal enough to appreciate his glorious failures.
In fact, he specifically boycotted a debate hosted by what he considered to be an unfriendly media source:
He joined Hillary and the rest of the Democratic primary field in 2007 by boycotting a debate hosted by Fox because the left demanded it.
I'll focus on this one bit:
What you’re really seeing here, I think, is Princess's ego showing. The charge that Putin is kicking sand in his face stings because it’s obviously true, and he didn’t pause in his annoyance before hitting back to consider whether maybe he wasn’t a gigantic hypocrite in doing so. Simple as that.
Correct, of course. This narcissist's self-love is disgraceful.
The one thing I'll add to that is a comparison of Obama's emotional states in two situations: One, in which Republicans mounted a criticism which was obviously true; and the other, in which an American journalist was beheaded by ISIS (or ISIL, as Obama and no one else calls it) and Obama made what were obviously perfunctory and barely-felt statements about it.
Slighting Princess' potency and acumen actually outrages her; cutting off an American's head gets only a passionless, rote recitation of "outrage" made between the 10th and 11th holes.
