Chaffetz Backs Down on Purge of Dissenting Conservative Mark Meadows

But what of the six people previously purged? What of Ken Buck, targeted to be purged this very day, losing his post as president of the GOP Freshman class, for the crime of angering the Orange Prince?

There is a body of Congressmen called The Freedom Caucus. There are about 40 of them. They include good conservatives like Louie Gohmert and Steve King.

They need help.

What they don't need is yet another Boehner triggerboy sent to Congress to vote more purges against them -- and elected from a bright red Romney +25 district, no less!
