Shots Fired: Super-Biased, Error-Ridden NYT Very Defensive About All Its Mistakes and Biases
A New York Times reporter accused Politico of running interference for its "patron," Marco Rubio, for accurately correcting the NYT's error in calling Rubio's fishing boat a "luxury speedboat."
The New York Times' mask of brittle authority, which conceals its mask of partisan bias, which itself conceals its actual face of incompetence, callowness, and unwarranted arrogance, is coming off, not just for us to see -- but for even liberal writers like Dyan Byers to see.
Update: The New York Times is claiming Rubio has a luxury home, too.
Guess what? He doesn't. They dress up a lot of minor, mundane common features -- an in-ground swimming pool, a driveway -- to make it sound like a drug-runner's gran hacienda opulenta.
In fact, it's a home with a small chunk of property cheek-by-jowl with other McHouses in a routine cul-de-sac.
And from @trueholygoat, here's Marco Rubio's ultraluxe speedboat in action:
By the way, I'm stomping on the Lindsey Graham thread -- but I hereby declare that that is still a 'live" thread, using the powers vested in me as a blogger.
I just wanted to get this up, pronto.
Thanks to @benhowe for the NYT-Politico dispute itself.
