Did SNL Rip Off a Canadian Show's Mohammad Sketch?

Steven Crowder thinks they did.

At first, I thought this could just be a case of Mediocre Minds Having the Same Obvious, Meh Idea. (And seriously, I don't know why they say this of great minds.)

It does seem to me to be an obvious enough thing to connect the idea of drawing Mohammad to Win, Lose, or Draw.

But Crowder points out the punchline is also the same.

Well, that punchline is also kind of obvious, but... My goodness, these sketches are identical, aren't they? Except for SNL throwing in some brief, halfhearted celebrity impressions.
