I guess the soundbite, if you care, is that he called Hillary Clinton the "candidate from yesterday," before declaring that "Yesterday is over."
"Yesterday is over, and we are never going back. We Americans are proud of our history, but our country has always been about the future. Before us now is the opportunity to author the greatest chapter yet in the amazing story of America. We can't do that by going back to the leaders and ideas of the past. We must change the decisions we are making by changing the people who are making them," Rubio said, according to prepared remarks. His campaign said roughly 1,000 supporters were in attendance.
He also seems to have swatted at Jeb Bush, noting that in America, the son of a bartender, like himself, can compete for the job of President. Unlike the case in many countries, where only the "rich and powerful" can do so.
