AOSHQDD: Chicago Run-Off, Ferguson City Council, and Badger State Brawls
Evening 'rons and 'ettes!
Tonight we find out if Rahmeggedon actually transpires or (more likely) Emanuel destroys Garcia in the Chicago runoff, and if the protests and activism in Ferguson have borne any electoral fruit.
Polls close in Chicago and Ferguson at 7pm local time.
Then, it is off again to the land of brats and cheese, where Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley (who accused Justice Prosser of attacking her) faces Rock County Judge James Daley. Bradley is expected to hang on, while the voters are expected to back a referendum to the constitution changing how the Chief Justice (currently the very liberal Shirley Abrahamson) is selected. In local municipal races, Madison Mayor Soglin, Racine Mayor Dickert, and Green Bay Mayor Schmitt are all expected to survive. Results start rolling in after 8pm CDT.
With turnout low, anyone could sneak in I suppose.
We will be calling races on Twitter at @AOSHQDD and may even do a little Periscoping.
It's all happening tonight at the Decision Desk.
