Wednesday Morning Happy Thoughts
At one point in our not too recent history people in the federal government charged with planning for a nuclear war with the Soviet Union made a map showing probable targets in the US. It looked like this:

There's a 500 warhead scenario and a 2000 warhead scenario. At its peak capability the Soviets had over 30,000 warheads in their arsenal.
This is creepy, but something extra creepy is the targets with multiple dots or triangles. Like Drew said this morning when we were all yakking about it, "Anything worth nuking is worth nuking twice."
