Progressives Reveal, Once Again, Their Complete Contempt for the Religious, Religion, Religiosity, and God
A prog troll running a site called "Political Wire" goofed on Scott Walker for saying he was waiting for God's guidance before deciding on a bid for President.
He made fun of prayer qua prayer -- just the whole idea of prayer was silly to him.
Well, yes. You're a progressive. Like most progressives, you are an atheist, or you offer up blather about some vague pseudo-religion blending Buddhism, yoga, the Thoreauean "oversoul" and Pilates.
Sort of like Obama, actually.
A guy on twitter named @johnriverstoo pointed out that Obama just spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast and Political Wire didn't make fun of prayer then.
Why?
Because this guy believes what we all pretty much know to be true-- that Obama's protestations of being a Christian are a sham intended only to maintain his political viability, just like his lies about being in favor of traditional marriage ("God's in the mix" in marriage, Obama said, hilariously) and that business about keeping your doctor.
We all know this, and the left demonstrates it every day with their open contempt of the Christian God while simultaneously finding nothing mock-worthy in Obama's very rare allusions to the Christian God; and Bill Maher, a million dollar donor to Obama, openly proclaims Obama to be an atheist, like himself, just pretending to be a Christian For The Rubes.
By the way: I don't remember the media getting huffy about Maher's statement.
I also don't remember Obama denying it.
You know, if I believed that Christ had saved me through nothing but my belief in Him and someone said publicly that I did not believe in him, I would go on TV to publicly state "yes, Mr. Maher, I appreciate your support, but in fact I do recognize Christ as my Lord and Savior."
Obama didn't say that though. Here's what Obama said:
Nothing.
And of course the Super-Christian Obama never bothered to get a new church in DC, or go to church ever, or even mention Jesus on Easter, but whatever, sure, it's a terrible thing for Scott Walker to say "I don't know if he's a Christian or not."
