BREAKING: Hostage Situation In Sydney, Australia

Lot of confusing reports but there are multiple people (reports say there are up to 50 but no one really knows) being held in a coffee shop in Sydney. There are reports of multiple gunmen but we know how those things go.

The scary part of this is the hostage taker(s) has had some of the hostages hold up a black Islamist flag.

Updated: Australian TV saying the writing on the flag is the "Shahada"...one of the pillars of Islam: "There is no god but the God, Muhammad is the messenger of the God." So yeah....Methodists.

Remember it's Monday morning there and this is apparently a busy part of downtown Sydney.
