Funny Sketch About the Dangers of Text Communication
Have you ever had an online argument that seemed to come out of nowhere? Have you ever later realized was that the problem was that tone cannot be transmitted through short messages, and that what you thought were perfectly friendly texts were being taken as hostile by your friend?
Key & Peele* have noticed this.
* This show is funny, generally. I always forget to watch it, but then every time I do watch it, it's funny.
For example, (Moderate Content Warning for the word "P*ssy") this sketch is about a guy trying to pass his own invented slang as an already-established "thing."
The other guy keeps objecting that is slang is "not a thing," and he should stop pretending it is "a thing."
Moderate content warning noted, it's funny.
Pretty Funny: "I said, bitch."
