IS Beheads Captured British Aid Worker Alan Henning
Henning was reportedly a taxi driver from the Manchester area, who volunteered to drive trucks for convoys delivering humanitarian aid.
So, of course, he needed to be murdered, in IS' eyes.
He had been kidnapped nine months ago. When he was kidnapped...
It was the second time in nine months that Henning had joined an aid convoy to Syria, after helping to raise funds to purchase the ambulances and medical equipment that were being taken into the country.
Other volunteers on the convoy have since described how he was separated from them after armed men surrounded a warehouse, a short drive from the Turkish border, where they were delivering ambulances and medical equipment. The gunmen were claimed that they were suspicious about Henning because he was not a Muslim, and because he had a chip in his UK passport. He was taken away despite the other volunteers demonstrating that all UK passports carried such a chip.
Meanwhile, a second DC-area patient is being observed for possible Ebola infection. This patient is in a Maryland hospital, in the suburbs just north of DC.
Just hours later, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Md., confirmed that it is evaluating a patient who "presented with flu-like symptoms and a travel history that matches criteria for possible Ebola."
But, the hospital said in a statement: "At this time, lab results indicate that this patient has another illness and we do not have a confirmed diagnosis of Ebola."
A spokeswoman for Shady Grove Adventist declined to say whether the patient, who remains is in isolation, had tested negative for the deadly Ebola virus.
Wait, what? Declined to say?
Hm, not sure what to make of that.
Again, obviously, this doesn't mean the patient has ebola.
It does, however, mean that a sick person from an area with Ebola outbreaks was of course permitted to fly right into the United States.
More: The Army has sent out an advisory -- IS has told jihadist-minded people to find the addresses of US servicemen, and slaughter them.
An Army intelligence bulletin is warning U.S. military personnel to be vigilant after Islamic State militants called on supporters to scour social media for addresses of their family members -- and to "show up [at their homes] and slaughter them."
The assessment, obtained by Fox News, came from the Army Threat Integration Center which issues early warnings of criminal and terrorist threats to Army posts worldwide.
This doesn't seem confined to America, but could apply to troops based in foreign countries.
