Hillary: The Russia Reset Worked; and
Obama Proposes Novel New Way to Amnesty Millions from Central America

I'm heading out, but these are important stories, and I want to make sure there's at least a thread for them.

First, Hillary claims her Russian Reset worked, that is, while she was still at State, and until President I-Won't-Say-Who screwed everything up.

Second, Obama wants to avoid the spectacle of just giving hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors amnesty at the US border.

Solution? Give hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors amnesty from the offices of the US Embassy in Honduras.

Sounds like a plan.

The Gang of Eight says that the only legislation they'll consider must be "exclusively" directed at solving the border crisis.

I'm not sure if they'd count Obama's "we'll give them amnesty in Honduras, then bring them to the US ourselves" plan as solving it.

"Any legislation considered this year must be focused exclusively on addressing the current crisis, halting the flow of unaccompanied children crossing the border and preventing future waves from making the dangerous journey north," Senators Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), John McCain (R. Ariz.), Lindsay Graham (R., S.C.), and Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) said in a joint statement.

The Thursday afternoon statement came after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D. Calif.) suggested that "the most important thing that we can do to use this crisis as an opportunity is to pass comprehensive immigration reform."
