Happy Tuesday.

Sen. Menendez claims the CIA has evidence his prostitution scandal was actually cooked up by Cuban spies intending to derail his political career. He has in the past claimed the prostitution scandal was created by right-wing blogs. Menendez was linked in April to the FBI's case against his top donor, Salomon Melgen, who is charged with Medicare fraud.

Ramesh Ponnuru has an outstanding piece on what leftists are misreading in Hobby Lobby. It's very good, but one thing I disagree with is Ponnuru suggestion that if leftists actually read the dissenting opinion, they would be less confused. I don't think that's the problem. I think a lot of the leftist commentators did read Justice Ginsburg's hyperbolic dissent, but never bothered to read the majority opinion. That's why they tend not to know things like the fact the majority opinion expressly reserved the question of the mandate accommodation.
