Obama Administration Once Again Threatens Tyrannical Executive Lawmaking on Immigration

"We're not just going to sit around waiting for Congress to write the law," as the Constitution requires, threatens Josh Earnest.

Other Democrats, including Robert Menendez, insist this is not a bluff.

"We're at the end of the line," Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) said Thursday during a press briefing in the Capitol. "We're not bluffing by setting a legislative deadline for them to act.

"Their first job is to govern," Menendez added, "and in the absence of governing, then you see executive actions."

I don't care if the next two years are a constant series of lawsuits decided by the Supreme Court -- in fact, I'd prefer it.

Do they imagine they've got some advantage here, going into the elections, with hundreds of thousands of immigrant children now enticed to cross the border illegally thanks to their policies?

I like this, though: New York is being eyed as a dumping ground for many of the illegal immigrants. Long Island, specifically.
