Jay Carney Resigns
Henceforth, the Administration's efforts to provide the public with exactly zero information will be led by the ironically named Josh Earnest.
Asked what he might do with his spare time, Jay Carney said he might manage his son's band.
Whose first single dropped today.
No really. Hugo Carney is in a band called, for some reason, Twenty20. His bandmates are the Scions of other White House swells.
I think they should have called themselves The Princelings. It's catchier.
They released a record -- "Heart Thief," and yeah, based on that title, you have some idea what you're in for.
I don't think this song is as notably awful as Sonny Bunch does, because 1, 90% of everything is awful, so recording an awful song shouldn't be any kind of noteworthy thing, and 2, because we're familiar with the Musical Stylings of the rich, well-connected, and young, and so this awful song should come as no surprise, and 3, because anyone with Carney DNA is genetically preprogrammed for awfulness, and we should be grateful it wasn't even awfuller.
So: "Heart Thief."
Enjoy.
Immortal Lyric: The kid yowls that he's “spent lonely nights all alone."
Well yeah that's usually the case, Kid.
