Obama's Education Secretary Arne Duncan had comments on Common Core teaching standards this weekend, including, on the one hand, that the biggest threat to Common Core is "we lose the hearts and minds of those in the middle" and, on the other, "It's fascinating to me that some of the pushback is coming from, sort of, white suburban moms who—all of a sudden—their child isn't as brilliant as they thought they were and their school isn't quite as good as they thought they were." Self-awareness FAIL, jackwad.
Sen. Claire McCaskill says Clinton won't even have a primary challenger in 2016. I'm sure McCaskill's colleague, Sen. Heap Big Wampum, disagrees.
In healthcare news, one insurer has dropped thousands of doctors from its network, leaving seniors, especially, wondering whether they'll get to keep their doctors even if they get to keep their plans.
National Journal's Josh Kraushaar thinks that if Obama can't figure his shit out soon, even Democrats will be calling for Obamacare repeal before Obama's term is done.
And the Cheney sisters are having their first public spat over marriage. The most recent polling in the Wyoming senate race found Sen. Enzi up 52 points over challenger Liz Cheney.
