Pennsylvania Called For Obama
Wisconsin for Obama, Too »
November 06, 2012
Bob Casey (D) Holds Senate Seat in PA, Defeats Tom Smith
Obama Wins Michigan, Immediately Upon Closing of Polls
Oy.
Obama wins Michigan, right out of the box, right as the polls close. That means, of course, it was not close.
Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Colorado are too close to call.
Romney of course takes Texas and Louisiana and Kansas and the Dakotas and Wyoming. Obviously, this is just the Republican base. And 4 of the 5 EV's in Nebraska.
And the Decision Desk is still running. Once again, light colors merely indicate who has the edge in tabulated votes. It does not predict a winner. Only dark colors do that.
I didn't see this... but on Twitter, some are claiming that Warren is projected to beat Brown.
Some decent news: Chatter is that Obama expects to lose Florida. Further, key north Virginia precincts which delivered the state to Obama are giving Obama less votes. For example, Louden county was Obama +8 in 2008; now it's even.
Assuming we take these states -- and oh God, the waiting is awful -- it will come down, as expected, to either Ohio, or Wisconsin and some combination of Colorado, Iowa, and/or New Hampshire.
By the way: In years past, the networks have always called Democratic states very early, and Republican states quite late. This really isn't out of the normal.
