Cain: A Report Will Come Out That Will Prove Me Innocent of Wrongdoing
Wait, Does He Just Mean That "A Staffer Pushed The Story" Stuff?
Correction on my dumb belief the "positive development" he spoke about was the attack on Perry. (Looking back, that doesn't even make sense. What a dummy I am.)
He says a report will be released, clearing him.
In a meeting at the Capitol Hill Club, Cain said he and his campaign had found out who was purportedly leaking word of his behavior toward female employees at the National Restaurant Association and that a report was coming out that would disprove the charges, according to the chief of staff to one of the Georgia members.
Cain boasted about how one must stand firm when they've done nothing wrong and that all will right itself.
I assume this will be from the National Restaurant Association? Assuming it is, I'm not sure how credible it will be. It's not like the NRA wasn't invested in the question itself.
I'm also thinking that, if it does come out, won't that be the end of the confidentiality agreement among all the parties?
Anyway, I look forward to seeing this.
Un-Corrected: Wait a minute, people seem to think that by "report" he is in fact referring to the claim that Curt Anderson leaked the story.
How the hell does that vindicate him?
Well... I already put this up so.... For the moment, until he clarifies, I'm assuming he means some report that actually clears him.
