Henry Waxman: Jews Vote Republican To Protect Their Wealth

Hey, Jews? You either stay on Team Democrat or we give you the treatment we give to our enemies.

You don't want us reviving centuries-old tropes about Jewish wealth, do you?

Then do the right thing. You understand?

California Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman, a prominent Jewish congressman, explained that some Jews are selecting not to vote for Democrats because “they want to protect their wealth, which is why a lot of well-off voters vote for Republicans.”

Waxman is himself Jewish, so I suppose he's "allowed" to say this. Still, he's putting people on notice what the acceptable sort of commentary may become if Jews aren't sufficiently supportive of the Democratic cause.

Jews, meanwhile, are starting to have their doubts about Obama's commitment to protecting their wealth (as Waxman might put it).

Obama’s approval rating among Jewish Americans is also down to 55 percent – a five point drop from his approval rating in June, which stood at 60 percent.

Together, the rise in disapproval and dip in approval ratings are a net negative 11 point downturn for Obama among Jews…

At that link, Hot Air discusses whether or not the US will veto Palestine's formal demand of statehood at the UN. Based on Obama's hosin' from The Chosen, he figures we will in fact veto it.

But who knows with this guy.
