Hmmm: Lefty Blogger Claims Obama Campaign Told Him To Do "Dirty Work" In 2008 and He Did It
A little context for this. It has long been the complaint and the contention of Hillary supporters that while Prince Barry rose majestically above the political scrum, watching from on high as if unto a god, healing the nation with his post-racial Love, that his supporters were meanwhile knifing Hillary with racial daggers at every turn and slashing her hamstrings with racial switchblades.
Well, that's not really a contention: That actually happened. That was the story of the 2008 primary. The contention of course is that this was done at the behest and coordination of Obama's campaign itself, and it wasn't just a bunch of independently-activating partisans deciding to slip Hillary some racial poison on their own.
This disclosure doesn't say what "dirty work" was done; it doesn't confirm that suspicion of Hillary partisans. But is very interesting.
Americablog is one of the biggest leftwing sites in the world. This isn't just a little start-up. So when the founding blogger there says he was asked to do "dirty work" for Obama, and did so, it's worth following up on.
Joe and I are upset with Obama, and we, for example, raised nearly $43,000 for the man, According to the White House, our money now doesn’t count. Great, would they like to give it back? I for one, would love the $1000 back that I personally donated to the Obama campaign. Joe gave even more. I suspect a lot of our readers wouldn’t mind their contributions back too, since apparently they’re not appreciated.
Then there’s all that work we did for the campaign, all the dirty work they asked us to do – and we did it, gladly, and quietly – none of that counted either, apparently.
Note that word "quietly." That's why my mind flies to Hillary Clinton. One doesn't have to be quiet about attacking Republicans, if one is a liberal. It's when dirty work needs to be done inside the family -- when a beloved sister has to be gutted -- that it needs to be done "quietly."
What was this dirty work? Does anyone at all care?
I have a little bit of hope. Only liberals can animate the media to look into a story, so Hillary's supporters might be able to get a closer look here. She may have become a dishonorary Republican for purposes of the media's treatment of her, but she's still a liberal Democrat in good standing. And her supporters are still angry.
More: The story was first reported in 2009, but a correspondent on FoxNews is talking it up again -- GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, with no authority for news decisions except what the corporate chain of command gives him, scolded CNBC reporters and hosts for being too tough on Barack "Glass Joe" Obama.
Thanks to Dr. Spank.
