Saturday Morning Reading: Recyclables Into Landfills

Two links that don't have anything we didn't already know, but get the "I give it a B-plus" AOSHQ stamp of approval for gratuitous snark.

Have you ever seen the "Paper Recycling" Truck, the "Glass Recycling" Truck, the "Plastic Recycling" Truck, and the "Green Waste" Truck? Or do you just see the same old garbage truck coming for your carefully sorted recyclables?

First, a rant on just how wasteful, in terms of money and man-hours, recycling is. Which isn't to say that some recycling isn't worth it. Just that a lot of the time, all that meticulous sorting isn't really doing a lick of good. Not to mention, those recycling nazis that wander around harassing people for not putting the trash in the right bin.
