Movie Break: The Boondock Saints II Redband Trailer
The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day will be in limited release on October 30.
Warning, this is the redband trailer, so probably NSFW:
Boondock Saints was one of my favorite movies in college that surprisingly few people had seen. If I remember right, it did not receive wide release in theaters because there was a major school shooting or something right around its release date and everyone freaked the heck out. So it was a hidden treasure for many people. A very well-made, technically impressive, layered plot shoot-everything-that-moves film with a hell of a conversation-starter moral message.
I highly recommend it and I have no hopes that they manage to do another as well. Troy Duffy has been swearing for over a decade that he'd make the sequel, but nobody wanted to work with him. Somehow he dusted off most of the original cast (sadly no Agent Paul Smecker aka Willem Dafoe) and got 'em together.
