Obama Demanding a Lot of Network Time This Month
Obama's Popularity Falls 12 Points with Indpendents In a Week Says... Kos Poll
A prime time press conference, an address on the spendulus that I'm assured that the whole nation wants so I'm not sure why he needs to sell us on it, and of course the State of the Union.
A lot of Mondays. Does Obama hate Jack Bauer?
Thanks to CJ.
MSNBC, meanwhile, covers the spendulus debate with all the objectivity we've come to expect:
MSNBC host Contessa Brewer, in an interview that seemed a lot like a lobbying campaign for the stimulus set for a vote in the U.S. Senate, quizzed Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., about the possibility that his vote against a stimulus bill could send the country spiraling into a Depression - and endanger the public's footwear.
"But if it fails, if it fails and our economy implodes and we see ourselves stuffing cardboard back in our shoes like they did in the Depression era, are you willing to put your name behind that?" Brewer asked.
I'm sure Contessa will be similarly asking Democrats about what happens if their trillion dollar stimulus fails, and our credit rating slips badly, and inflation skyrockets, and we saddle our grandkids with piles of debt for absolutely nothing.
To Know, Know, Know Him, Is To Have Mixed, Mixed, Mixed Feelings About Him: Give Obama all the tv time he wants. His approval rating with independents plunged 12 points among independents this week alone. Ten points with the whole of the nation.
And you can trust that poll.
It's a Kos poll.
Thanks to CJ for that one, too.
