The Sun quotes Algerian militant Abu Baçir El Assimi:

"The sexual act on young recruits aged between 16 to 19 was a means to urge them to commit suicide operations."

The paper claims that "intense social stigma and fear of more gay sex attacks leaves Muslims prepared to die."

Rape and homosexual acts are punishable by death under Sharia law.

That's gotta be one of the more baroque I'm-not-really-gay excuses for gay rape I've ever heard. Coming soon: "we're just trying to tire ourselves out to give those 72 virgins a break" and "vaginas are pawns of the Jewish banking syndicate" and "I'm so straight I do this every three months just to 'test myself' -- I've got a perfect record so far."
