A new website has been launched with the express mission of stopping the cruel practice of using kittens as shark fishing bait. It is claimed that Venezuelan and Mexican charter boat captains employ the barbaric technique because a securely hooked kitten will struggle fiercely in the water and thus attract hungry sharks. The site also claims that as a result of global warming, longer breeding cycles for cats have occurred and thus there is a growing surplus of felines to dispose of.
