Liberal Fascism Watch: ABC Reporter/Producer Arrested for Snapping Pics of Senators, Big Donors at Secret Meeting
Note there was no trespass (which itself would have been a ticky-tack charge under the circumstances) as he was out on a public street snapping pictures of fatcat lobbyists as they left the secret conclave.
Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic Senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.

Police on the scene refused to tell ABC lawyers the charges against the producer, Asa Eslocker, who works with the ABC News investigative unit.
A police official later told lawyers for ABC News that Eslocker is being charged with trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order. He also said the arrest followed a signed complaint from the Brown Palace Hotel.
Eslocker was put in handcuffs and loaded in the back of a police van which headed for a nearby police station.
First rule of Fatcat Lobbyist Club: You don't take pictures of Fatcat Lobbyist Club.
Through Instapundit, who notes "...and they were right!"
Thanks to CJ.
So let's sum up the rules:
1) Hard-left anarchist protesters can ignore police orders to disperse and stop blocking traffic without fear of arrest.
2) Pot-smoking DNC delegates are allowed to use illegal drugs publicly without fear of arrest.
3) Reporters are not, however, permitted to stand in pubic streets and take pictures of well-heeled power-brokers whose presence would prove an embarrassment to The One.
Do I have that all right?
The fusion of political power with police power is so.... I was going to say "scary," but I guess the right words are hopeful, progressive, and a wonderful harbinger of the Hope and Change that's on its way.
Related: Fred Baron, 15th level Paladin for the Cause of Poor Families Who Just Need a Helpin' Hand, is at the DNC, of course, and he's trying to avoid cameras and reporters. Ducked out from an ABC reporter who tried to ask questions.
