Incumbent Rep. Chris Cannon Loses Primary to Underfunded Challenger -- Over Amnesty

What's particularly interesting is that it's so obvious the loss was due to Cannon's pro-amnesty position that even the MSM admits it -- and they've generally struggled to portray the issue as favoring those in support of amnesty and then, when that idiotic spin was revealed as pure political fantasy, as at least not meaning all that much either way.

Will McCain heed the wake-up call? Will he comprehend that whatever gains he believes he's making among Hispanics, he's losing more support from actual Republicans?

No, of course not. Although it's likely that if McCain falls behind Obama by 5-10 points closer to the election suddenly we'll hear him talking up that "secure the border first" thing again. The Straight-Talking Maverick reveals a willingness to dishonestly pander whenever he's threatened.
