Michelle Obama: "It makes you feel justified in your own ignorance. That's America."
Contrast With Wright: Italians Have "Garlic Noses"
"So the challenge for us is are we ready for change?"
OUT: White Supremacy
IN: Black Supremacy
OUT: Racial hatred based on ignorance and misdirected anxiety about the economy
IN: Racial hatred based on legitimate anger
OUT: Jesus' famous three words, "Love thy enemies"
IN: Jesus' not-quite-so-famous four words, "By any means necessary"
Change you can believe in, yo.
This woman is really showing me something.
So, if I'm to understand this right, Karl Rove has been masquerading as a black woman for 40 years and also somehow managed to fake "giving birth" to Obama's children all so he could start making statements like this?
Princeton could use a man like Joel.
Ed Morrissey:
[A]fter the exposure of Rev. Jeremiah Wright as a racial demagogue, the Obamas are the last people to talk about reaching beyond their comfort zone.
Yes, being lectured about racial healing by the Obamas as if we were children in need of their instruction and moral example certainly has a decidedly fantastical quality about it. It's like being lectured by Larry Craig about proper bathroom etiquette and not crowding a guy at a urinal.
...
Perhaps this is why we’ve seen so little of Michelle Obama on the campaign trail of late.
Rove also has the Fox gig.
Thanks to Liberrocky.
Also From Reverend Wright: The US government runs everything from the schoolhouse to the Ku Klux Klan.
Oh and the Romans rejected Jesus because of (wait for it) racism. "Looking down their Garlic noses" at Him.
Does anyone sort of sense that Rev. Wright pretty much lost the plot of the Bible here?
In Hot Air's Headlines.
Obama: "I Was Named After Sir Edmund Hillary, Too:" Well, that's pretty much the claim.
A reporter (forget who, think it was on Fox) said that Hillary's people were giving reporters specifics of Obama's fabulations in the wake of Hillary's Tuzla pwnag3. So we can almost certainly thank Hillary's Oppo Researchers for this one.
The Democrats are aghast that this is such a bruising and painful primary.
Can I point something out? What they're really shocked by is that they are finally seeing some truly punishing and tough media coverage, probably for the first time in their lives.
And the reason they're finally getting what Republicans have always gotten isn't that the media has suddenly decided to be nonpartisan. Quite the opposite. The MSM, like the Democrats, are split between Hillary partisans and Obama partisans so circumstances have conspired to actually force the MSM into normal, non-protective coverage of both. It's not that they're not partisans -- they are, and deeply so as usual. It's just that for the first time the partisans can't yet rally behind the Democrat and just punish the Republican. Their partisanship is still real and palpable; it just so happens the two opposite partisanships cancel each other out resulting in, good Lord, more or less neutral coverage.
And the Dems can't take it-- they can't stand neutral coverage. They need the advantage of always having the MSM protecting their candidates while going after the Republicans hammer and tong.
Recent polling suggests this ghastly state of affairs may go on for a bit.
Garlic Noses?: Um, I just sort of misread "Garlic" as "Gallic" figuring Wright had simply lumped in the Italians with the French.
As a commenter corrects me, he actually said Italians/Romans looked down their "Garlic noses" at Jesus (who, in his retelling of the story, is just another black man being redlined out of a home loan).
Garlic noses?
Are you fucking kidding me with this shit?
