Eesh: Schizofeminist Wishes She'd Aborted Porn-Perusing Son, Absolutely Sure She's Given Birth To A Rapist In Waiting

Before I link this, I want to make five points:

1) Of course I do not believe this woman's obviously, err, florid psychology is representative of all, or even many, feminists.

2) Further, I do not believe that simply because Dan Riehl has unmasked this insanity that we have won the War in Iraq.

3) The fact that Riehl is publicizing that this particular woman is driven by ideological hatred towards her own son is not proof that "everything in Iraq is going just fine."

4) This seems to be officially "old." New to me, though.

5) As a sop to the liberals, I am willing to concede that I am linking this in order to "distract" from... well, whatever it is the left currently thinks the sheeple need distracting from. Bridge collapse? Iraq? Whatever they're claiming AG Gozalez did this week? Valerie Plame, even?

Whatever. I have 15,000 sheeple readers and I'm not able to distract them from the important issues just by writing about Dungeons & Dragons all friggin' day. The sheeple don't just distract themselves, you know.

This is just bananas. The woman needs counseling and the poor kid needs state protection.

Some might say she's radical. Others, I guess, might disagree on this point.

It's a scary moment when a parent realizes that their boy is, in fact, capable of rape. Not because of anything they say or any particular way they act, but because they're little men, because they'll grow to be big men. It's a dreadful thought to think that the boys, whom I love and cherish beyond anything reasonable, are capable of this crime. I think about the parents of boys who have already raped, parents who's children are in prison, and I think that they must have thought that their children were not capable of such a crime, but they were, weren't they?

My boys are good boys, they're smart boys, but they are boys and as such, the Patriarchy want them. The Patriarchy is doing it's level-best to assimilate my boys and bring them into the folds of Male Power and Privilege and it's my job to put the spark of empathy, the fire of self-determination and respect into their young minds to make women safer. To make their wives and girlfriends and fuck buddies safe from them, because left unchecked they could rape, they already have the equipment.

* She says she was raped, at least. Why am I daring to throw this disclaimer up? Don't I believe women when they say they've been raped?

Most of the time, sure, but: See Crystal Gail Mangum. And I happen to know, from semi-personal experience, that imaginary rapes are in the top ten of schizophrenic delusions. A schizophrenic woman whose sad letters I had the misfortune of reading never failed to spell "therapist" as "the-rapist" and alleged she'd been raped by the majority of all doctors, psychiatrists, police, and social-services caseworkers she'd met.

This woman is obviously unhinged, so I don't know what's going on here:

Was she raped and thereby driven borderline insane (if not actually quite across the boundary-line)?

Or was she already crazy and hallucinated a rape?

I don't know. I'm not a psychiatrist and I don't have access to the relevant police and hospital records.

All I know is that she seems to have only a nodding acquaintance with reality -- whether due to neurochemical causes or external factors -- so I'm not really given to taking everything she says as being strictly according-to-Hoyle.

I hope she was able to do something with the money that Amanda Marcotte, Feministing, and the rest of the gang raised for her.
