To visualize its "Millimeters Matter" sleek cellphone campaign, a company has (supposedly) filmed flies and spiders being hit by millimeter-diamater creampies launched by tiny catapults.
Real or CGI? I don't know, but it's frakkin' awesome.
How they actually hit flies in flight with a micro creampie isn't clear. I suppose you could just launch thousands of them and expect you'd wind up with a few hits, but I'm thinking an expensive production wouldn't want to leave direct hits to chance. You might want to, say, put the "photography" in the hands of someone who would make sure you got your money shots whether they happened or not, such as noted photojournalist Scott Beauchamp.
