Shock: Left Blames Bridge Collapse On Bush, Iraq War, Tax Cuts
Yeah, Bush really cut the non-military budget to the bone, didn't he? It's merely increased about two or six times the rate it did under Clinton.
A commenter mentioned that a CNN reporter stated flat-out that the bridge collapse was due to lack of funds due to the Iraq War. I don't have a cite, but I believe him, even though I don't remember who it was.
Anyway, here's Ed Schultz claiming it too.
It's barely worth posting. It wasn't like we didn't know this was coming from the moment the first beam buckled. But I'll stand on ceremony and duly observe the ritual.
PS: How long before it's discovered that this bridge has been getting increasingly dire reports since 1997, when Lord God King Bill Clinton was President? How long before those reports ever make it to prominent mention in the MSM?
