Bleg: A Max Blumenthal Video

Max Blumenthal haunts conservative gatherings in DC asking conservatives why they aren't serving in Iraq. And then he goes on CNN and calls them chickenhawks.

Just putting this out there: If you see Lance Corporal "Mad" Max Blumenthal somewhere, be sure to turn on the video on your cellphone or digital camera and ask him which unit he's currently serving in in the "real war" he supposedly supports, Afghanistan (and possibly of course the Great Overmountain Invasion of Pakistan as well, when noted war-hero Barack Obama leads it).

I don't see why we're letting him slide on this. Either he is not himself is not serving in a war he supports (supposedly), making him not just a chickenhawk but a hypocritical chickenshit chickenhawk to boot, or he is serving, in which case I think it's just an awful shame that his heroic top-secret covert-ops service in Waziristan is not celebrated around the world.

If he's a bona fide Taliban hunter-killer -- which I have no doubts he is, of course -- I want to the world to know of his heroic sacrifice and courage on the front lines of freedom.

So, seriously: Next time you see a soft-handed chap in a suit pointing the cameras at Republicans and asking them why they aren't in Iraq, make sure to ask him which unit he's currently deployed with in Afghanistan.

And then please please please send it to me.

I'm all about supporting the troops. Especially those like Max Blumenthal, whose service is of such a sensitive and secret nature that he's forced to pretend he's just a rich-kid douchebag wandering aimlessly around DC annoying people and taking a series of Daddy-Got-Me jobs at liberal organizations.

Good Snark: The Great Overmountain Invasion of Pakistan shouldn't be as difficult as some have thought. Allah notes, of course, that we should have millions of patriotic liberal hero-boys signing up for this mission any. minute. now:

Once we pull out of Iraq we’re going to have a huge manpower surplus from all the leftist cretins who’ve spent the last four years chanting “chickenhawk” running off to enlist so they can live out their dream of fighting the “real war on terror.” Put ‘em to use.

Plus, they'll be led by General Glenn "Blog & Guts" Greenwald and Lance Corporal "Mad" Max Blumenthal, who could practically defeat all the Al Qaeda and Taliban in Pakistan on their own. Adding all those millions of super-patriotic strong, tough liberal heroes to the effort would just be icing on the cake.

Mayhem-bringing, nunchuk-slinging icing on the baddest-ass cake you've ever seen.
