Not really. But in case you didn't pick up on it, Slublog's Ron Paul post was an homage to the greatest Onion article ever published, titled Why Do All These Homosexuals Keep Sucking My Cock? (Um, content warning, in case you couldn't tell from the headline.)
I imagine most of you have read it, but if you haven't, it's about time. Killer.
More Joke Thievery: Simpsons vs. Family Guy:
I was kinda against posing this for two reasons. First, it's not quite fair. Plots and jokes tend to be pretty standard, and often reused. One could find previous sitcoms using a lot of Simpsons plot elements and jokes, too.
Second, people can be really strong partisans on shows and comics they like, sometimes even stronger partisans than they are on politics. So I didn't want to start a Simpsons fans vs. Family Guy fans war. With those who like both pleading like Jan Brady, "Guys! Mom says no fighting!"
But that aside, I think these are pretty well-done. A lot of this stuff falls under "everyone's done that before" category, and some other of it into "every very stupid guy joke is pretty much like that" category, but still, a lot of strong similarities here. The box joke in the second clip seems to be a genuine swipe -- or, like George Harrison's supposed swipe of the "He's So Fine" in writing "My Sweet Lord," at least a case of "unconscious plagiarism."
