St. Andrew of the Sacred Heart-Ache Links Me

I've added a little message to him and his readers at the end of the "Andrew Sullivan Questions The Timing" post.

Ohhhhh... he's trying to walk back the cat on that one, but oh boy. It was big cat.

And cats are not as compliant as, say, beagels.

Hm. A triple 'lanche-- Malkin (thanks Karol), Sullivan, and Instapundit.

Two for making fun of Sullivan's dark descent into demogogic dementia, and one for lightly poking fun at Glenn Hehrolds, for being one of those pointy-headed types who likes to be "cautious" with "measured" and "deliberate" "reason."

I don't placate with "reason."

Are reason and I friends? Yes.

Do we talk? No.

Now... He says he was "merely" quibbling about whether or not it was "imminent."

Whatever, St. Andrew of the Sacred Heart-Ache. When precisely should we have waited for? We already found their bombs; we had recordings suggesting something happening (dry run or not) for TODAY.

If we had waited until late October... oh, boy, can you imagine the rich, savory cornucopia of questionings-of-the-timings then!

And what if we had waited TOO LONG? And 2000 people died? What would Andrew "More Troops/Fire Rummy/Rogue Nation/Abu Ghraib" Sullivan say THEN?

It is.

To laugh.

And remember -- the Brits deliberately went too early on this bust, potentially compromising the whole year long, multimillion dollar investigation, because, according to Sullivan, Joe Lieberman lost the primary to Ned Lamont.

Oh-- yeah, and in fairness, because Iraq continues to be the same shithole it's been for three years, and because Hezbollah continues its war on the Jews.

We had to "distract" the public's attention from those stories -- a war that's the same SNAFU it's been for a while, another war that was coming to a close by a ceasefire, and of course, the MONUMENTAL, EARTH-SHAKING LOSS of Joe Lieberman to Ned Lamont by 9000 or so votes in the KEY SWING STATE of Connecticut (a race he will ultimately win, of course) -- by FAKING an IMMINENT MEGATERROR PLOT.

Wow... that Tony Blair. I *thought* he was an ally, but I had no idea his loyalty to Bush extended to fabricating terror plots to "distract" from fairly unimportant US Senatorial primary contests.
