Good NY Sun Recap On Terrorist-Tippin' Times
The majority of the appellate court found, surprisingly enough, that tipping off targets of terrorist investigations was not a key nor even common part of journalism, and hence not subject to any special constitutional protection.
I think, though, that they're wrong about that last part-- tipping off terrorists to American security measures is more or less the media's stock in trade at this point.
The court split 2-1. The dissenting judge? Judge Sack.
It's too easy. It's beneath even me. You morons can have fun with it, though.
