TiVo Alert: Bob Novak To Discuss Plame Affair On Fox News
Tomorrow night, at 6 (Brit Hume) and 9 (Hannity & Spock).
Not to go out on a limb or anything, but I'm figuring he's going to say no crime was committed, his source was not Libby, this whole investiagation is a joke, and very little else.
"I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in 'Who's Who in America..."
This Bob Novak quote is irrelevant and misleading. Yes, he learned the name of the woman from Who's Who in America. But the tip he got said that "Joe Wilson's wife, a CIA worker, put him on the job."
At that point, duh, it's easy to find out who Joe Wilson's wife is.
That doesn't change the fact that she wasn't covert, wasn't an "agent," and if her identity was still considered "classified," it was a legacy classification that had little to do with reality. (Truly "classified" agents don't drive right into Langley every day.)
But this quote is kinda dumb.
